Meg Dunn is from Melbourne, suckled in Newcastle NSW
and springs from the union of a lighthouse keeper and a mermaid. True story.
Meg's first poetry book Great Northern Reality, published by Nimrod Press (ed. Prof Norman Talbot) was released in 1996. Her favourite work is Brave, a CD and solo show which won her Best Spoken Word Performance for The Melbourne Fringe 2002.
Recently she has completed the major draft of a new book and performance to be called Everything The Rainbirds Scream In Silence (if her boyfriend lets her appropriate his title) or Everything I Know Right Up Until This Moment (if he doesn't).
